If you've passed by the stretch of 9th street near Fifth Avenue to go to C Town, New York Sports Club, or secretly gorge on McDonald's while you trick your spouse into thinking you're sticking to your diet, you may have noticed that a new branch of Allstate has opened up.
To celebrate their grand opening and introduce themselves to the neighborhood, the Steven Schneider Agency (336 9th Street, between Fifth and Sixth Aves, 718-686-1200) is throwing two events this weekend. Both are free and both are useful.
Check it out:
Don't be like Erica and get your iPad jacked on the subway. Head down to Steven Schneider Agency on Friday, 10/7 from 11am to 3pm to get free identification etching on all of your most valuable possessions (iPads/iPods, laptops, cameras, etc).
Free Women's Self-Defense Seminar:
We've all been on edge lately with this creep running around, assaulting women. Allstate producer Guro Patrick Iversen will be offering a free women's self-defense seminar on Saturday, 10/8 from 12pm to 2pm at the Prospect Park Grand Army Plaza entrance.
For more information on any of these events, call the Steven Schneider Agency at 718-686-1200.
