Ever read a great FiPS post and think to yourself, Hot damn. I'm in lurrrve with this writer. We love you too, reader (well, most of you), and for the next few months we're going to give you an insight into the writing staff here at FiPS. Contributers were paired together and asked to come up with some burning questions for each other so that you guys can learn a little more about the minds behind this FiPS-tastic blog. Because when it comes down to it, we're fucked in Park Slope JUST LIKE THE REST OF YOU SUCKERS.
First up: Erica and Ursula!
Erica started this bad boy blog that you're currently reading. Ursula hopped on the FiPS bus earlier this year, and is the genius mind behind our newest feature, Vexed in Park Slope. Here are their Q's and A's:
Chocolate or vanilla?
ERICA: Chocolate...every time.
Fuck/Marry/Kill: Turtle, Vince and Drama (of Entourage)
ERICA: DEFINITELY marry Turtle...there is no other choice. That dude can sniff out money making opportunities like nobody's business and he's just super sweet and cute. Plus he's already used to taking care of everyone and would probably be happy to drive me around everywhere. I know this is insane, but I would say fuck Drama, mostly because Vince is just such a douchebag. Yes he's hot as all get out, but he probably sucks in bed cause he's just used to chicks throwing themselves all over him and he probs doesn't care about anyone but himself. Vince deserves to die (kill).
URSULA: I have a deep and abiding hatred of Entourage. Thus I will interprate this question literally. Turtle - marry. They are adorable and steadfast little creatures. Kill - drama. Who needs it? Fuck - Ok nowhere literal to go with this one so yes, Adrien Grenier is pretty cute.
If you were to give birth to a set of twins today (a boy and a girl), what would you name them?
ERICA: I would pick Eli for a boy and Charlotte (charlie for short) for a girl...then I would immediately put them both up for adoption.
URSULA: Ira and Margot. This despite the fact that I've named the last several mice I've had in various apartments Ira (note: giving a mouse your favorite name will not make you less repulsed by it - but it may work better for babies).
second favorite baked good?
ERICA: Devil Dogs (do those count as baked goods?)
What one block in Park Slope would you rather live on than your own?
ERICA: 3rd Street between 8th and the Park...in that beautiful white brownstone (whitestone?) with the big glass door.
URSULA: 3rd St between 7th and 8th Ave.
What's the last thing you googled?
ERICA: "Black spots on dog's gums"...an Oliver sitch, of course. Don't even ask.
URSULA: "Icebreaker questions" because I totally lack imagination.
Can't get enough of these ladies? You can follow Ursula on Twitter or read her blog, The Bear Who Let It Alone. Erica once wrote an article for the NY Press about the time she discovered that her parents were potheads. You should totally read it, and can HERE. You should also check out her sweet Design Blahg.
